I Experienced It So You Don’t Have To
Two weeks after we closed on our resale home both a/c units gave their last breaths of cool air and then checked out permanently – of course they kicked it during the SCORCHING FLORIDA SUMMER on a weekend and need I say we had to wait two days to have the new ones installed?
Yes, I did have a home inspection and the units were giving signs of coming to the end of their roads.
Yes, the seller represented that the units were working fine – and they continued working fine for two weeks after I took residence in the home.
And yes, there was some familial disharmony during that weekend with some he saids / she saids flung about and a constant reference to my technical shortcomings when it comes to a/c and refrigeration.
Stuff breaks and doesn’t last forever! Nobody has a crystal ball that will foresee all of the future issues with your home…but…
